About the letters

“Hey, I’m Ash. Indigo and I live in the bush not far from here…”

The Adventures of Ash and Indigo is a monthly letter from two kids in the Australian Bush, filled with tales of adventure and exploration in the bush, the garden, and beyond, subtle observations of local seasonal indicators and new and unique activity ideas to encourage and motivate family nature connection. Each month the letter will invite you and your family to step outside to connect with mother earth, and with each other.

“My 5 year old son loves them… there is a magic to them, they encourage him to do different things outside and we have learnt to identify some plants which is exciting. We refer to the stories while playing outside or on bush walks.”

“Ash and Indigo reminds us that nature is not out to get us, in fact, nature welcomes us in. Something changes when we spend more time in the wild. Our mind quiets. Our senses come alive. We relax and we feel alive.”
