As with many connections, our first meeting was facilitated by a shared passion... in our case, a passion for getting children and families out into nature, a shared understanding of the importance that nature connection holds in order to protect the future of our planet.

Alongside our shared passion, our paths have been similar and our personalities and talents compliment each other. We each have two young children and strong involvement with our local communities, we both have a history in Primary School Teaching, and a shared interest in the importance of play and freedom during childhood. Together we undertook Forest School Leader Training in early 2018 and worked together to run nature connection groups for families and home educated children.

The Adventures of Ash and Indigo came about as we moved away from facilitating nature connection groups in order to spend more time with our own growing families. After a lot of thought on how we could continue to facilitate nature connection among children and families, while honouring our own families current needs The Adventures of Ash and Indigo was conceived!

We work closely together to ensure our values align with our practice and we delight in creating stories for your family to enjoy!

We acknowledge the Indigenous people of the Kulin Nation, from whose land we work, live and play. We thank them for their continued custodianship of the land, the knowledge that is shared with our community, and pay our respect to elders - past, present and emerging.
